Chapter 2: Part 1

"How did they find us? I thought nobody ever went to Mequon. There's an exit in the back, let's get there." 25 of the NINJA's best men were armed and ready to take out me and Cony. I had realized Cony had been acting a little strange today and he seemed more worried than usual. I went into the closet and pulled out my trusty shotgun. Cony grabbed an uzi, I grinned and asked him, "You know how to use one of those?", yet no response. The back exit was through a tunnel underground and would lead us back to Milwaukee, a place we hadn't been for some time.

Thankfully for us we were locked and loaded. Ninjas knew about the tunnel exit and were guarding it, seven of them to be exact. I peeked my shotgun through an opening which showed the tunnel. I picked off the ninja armed with an uzi (looking rather nervous however), why take a chance. The bullet went right through his temple and poured blood onto his surrounding friends. In anger, the other ninjas began entering the place. Cony was armed with his uzi behind an old bar in the basement. The ninjas entered, possessing only ninja stars and nunchakus. The glory that we were about to witness was unimaginable; as I sat back and lit up a cigarette, and watched Cony blast away every last one of the ninjas, even as they tried to run away. Six dead ninjas laying at the door, and Cony could only mutter, "Theres the door mat you wanted." I put my cigarette out on one of the ninjas and we walked out the back.

Cony tossed his uzi aside and sat down beginning to shake. "What is with you man? Why are you acting like such a puss?" He didn't speak just kept trembling. And then I heard footsteps coming. "Cony talk to me, we have to go! They'll kill you if we stay here!" He looked up with a ghostly face, "They'll kill me either way Dan, you see..." and before he finished I shot him with my silencer. I immediately ran down the tunnel, knowning now that none of those ninjas that were shot were actually dead, except for the one I blasted with the shotgun.

I scrambled up a ladder leading out of a sewer into the streets of Milwaukee, after running for about 15 miles. I went to a local cafe to grab some food. The news headlines said, "Governor shot dead by mad man". I took no notice to this as I had bigger problems of my own. But I couldn't help to think, the man I had just killed. No it couldn't be. But why was he the only one with a gun and such an easy target. The ninjas knew. They used the governor to set me up for the second time. I've killed another politician, I really need to start following politics. I only wonder now if Cony is still alive somewhere. All the confusion running through my head was tormenting, and my adrenaline was pumping. "Snap out of it!" I thought to myself. The real Cony is still alive, and I'm going to find him.

As I left the cafe, I saw that I had made the news. I was now wanted for the murder of the governor, which didn't bother me too much since this is the second time I was set up by the ninjas. I'm now wanted for the murder of a mayor and a governor, and I'm supposed to be the good guy, the hero of the town. I now have nobody on my side and it's time to go save Cony.

The NINJA had already framed me before, this time it was only their plan b. They came to that house to kill me, trying to use a non Ners to fool me. I know Cony better than they thought apparently as I came to find out that Cony is most likely still alive. I received a text message, 'you are smarter than we thought, come to 6th and North to save your friend'. How could I know if this wasn't just another trap? Why wouldn't they have killed Cony already? I alone am much weaker and an easier target, I have to move on in caution.
